CHAI PANI RESTUARANT GROUP

Buxton Hall Barbecue is part of the Chai Pani Restaurant Group, based in the mountain town of Asheville, NC. It all started in 2009 with a little Indian street food joint (chaat house) called Chai Pani in downtown Asheville. MG Road Bar & Lounge then opened in 2012 right around the corner from Chai Pani, serving up creative craft cocktails and innovative food from rotating pop-ups by local chefs. The next spring, a sister Chai Pani in downtown Decatur began serving beloved Indian street favorites to the Atlanta area. Just two years later, Elliott Moss and Meherwan Irani teamed up to bring Buxton Hall Barbecue's whole-hog style of barbecue to Asheville's South Slope. And lastly, Botiwalla, our newest venture, recently opened in the spring of 2016 in Atlanta's Ponce City Market.

ABOUT CHAI PANI

It started with a little Indian street food joint (chaat house) called Chai Pani in Asheville, NC. Since then we’ve opened two more spots in Asheville: MG Road Bar & Lounge, and an all-wood-smoked whole-hog barbecue restaurant called Buxton Hall Barbecue. In 2013 we opened a sister Chai Pani in downtown Decatur, located right down the street from Botiwalla on Ponce de Leon ave.
